When loading or offloading volatile products from road or rail tankers it is a requirement for the tanker to be earthed, the systems
supplied by EMCO systematically remove electrostatic charges to ground. The systems are designed to recognise the electrical signature of road and rail tankers, and will only offer a permissive to load when connected to the actual tanker. |

To avoid any dangerous spark between a component and the tank during loading operation the tank must be earthed. The D.C.M.T. 3 basic function is to earth automatically the tank to the ground to avoid any operator error. |
